Since the date of its establishment the Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Armenia has implemented a large number of activities to promote and develop the bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Armenia in the fields of economy, trade, culture and tourism.
The Consulate has arranged a lot of meetings with the Armenian business community, has participated in at about 6 exhibitions in Indonesia and Armenia, gathering and providing the necessary information for the development of trade and economic cooperation and cultural ties. These all allowed to enlarge the trade volume between two countries as well as gave a unique opportunity to Armenian business community to participate in the Resource Indonesian Annual International Trade Fare.
This year the residents as well as the guests of Yerevan had a unique chance to get acquainted with Indonesian culture and sightseeing as the Embassy and Consulate organized 3 day lasting Exhibition of Indonesian Photos at the Academy Gallery of Yerevan.
The Consulate has also been actively involved in the bilateral governmental negotiations.
Up to 2007 the Consulate has assisted the citizens of Armenia to apply for the Indonesian visas at the regional Embassy of Indonesia in Kyiv. It provided all the necessary information, arranged the documentation and passed them to the Embassy. 
Taking into consideration the dynamic tendency of development of Indonesian-Armenian ties the Indonesian Government has authorized the Consulate in Yerevan to issue visas for the citizens of the Republic of Armenian and Georgia. It helped to double the number of the issued visas.
Nowadays every month at about 20 companies and individuals turn to the Consulate to receive full information about Indonesian recourses and export products as well as to spread the information about Armenian export products in Indonesia.
